After two years of being unable to run our annual Easter Kids Club due to the covid pandemic we were delighted this year to once again open our doors for four fun packed mornings. We are so grateful to our continued relationship with local schools allowing us to share our events with thousands of children.
This year we had a detective theme for the week as we were seeking to follow the clues and discover who Jesus really is. We had an exceptionally busy time with games, craft, stories, songs, motto, live Dramas and more.
Sunday Family Service
We also had a Family Service on the Sunday where we shared with parents, carers, and family all that the children had learnt over the past week. This lively service included the kids teaching the adults some of the songs (and energetic actions) that they have been learning throughout the week.

The children also memorised our motto (and song), the motto for this week was “For the Son of Man has come to seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10). This reflects our detective theme for the week but also reminds us that Jesus’ love for us is so great that no matter how much we have done wrong he offers forgiveness for everyone who would believe upon him.
We were also very pleased to have a ‘Prize Giving’ ceremony to present to the children a free book as a reminder of what they have learnt and achieved this past week. This service was followed by a typical free Libanus Lunch with more food brought than we could ever eat.

I would like to thank the whole team for everything they have done. All these events could not have been organised without such a dedicated hardworking team
Ongoing Events
We have loved Holiday Bible Club, but as a Church we runseveral regular events, and groups open to children and toddlers available all year round.
Libanus Tots
Every Friday (during term time) we hold our toddler’s group at the Church doors open at 9:30am with lots of toys ready for free play. Breakfast time for children is at 10:00 am with tea, coffee and toast for adults when the children are finished. Tidy up time is followed by singing on the mat. We sing lots of songs and there is an opportunity to join in playing a musical instrument.

Kids Talk Videos
Every week we release a brand-new illustrated video on our YouTube Channel by members of Libanus Church. We know that children are spending an increased time on devices and so we want to share the positive message in a friendly, engaging in a modern way.
These videos are published Saturday evening ready to be watched and enjoyed on Sunday morning. These videos are also played each week at our Morning Church service. You can catch up on nearly a year’s worth of Kid’s Talks already on our YouTube channel.
Sunday Club
This Club runs every Sunday afternoon in the Church during the school term time. The club is for those of junior school age. At this club the children hear a story, explore a craft and an opportunity for the children to build friendships with those their own age.
It has been an exhausting week, but it has been an encouragement to be part of another Holiday Bible Club. We would love you to join with us throughout the year at our various events and activities.
We hope to see you all next year!
